Women’s Housing Coalition Gift Bag Project

Once again this year, it is our hope that individuals from Stony Run, joining together with Friends School students and Stony Run's Middle/High Schoolers, will collaborate to fill 100 or more holiday gift bags for clients of the Women’s Housing Coalition (WHC).

We are raising funds from the Meeting to help pay for various warm clothing items and toiletries to fill all 100+ gift bags.

How can you help?

At the request of the WHC, Stony Run is collecting women’s warm socks, lap throws, and towel and washcloth sets.

There will be a collection box in the Lower Lobby from October through December for collecting these items. You may donate online by clicking the button below. Cash or checks may also be placed in the wall-mounted box next to the elevator (make checks payable to Stony Run Friends, with “WHC” on the memo line, and place cash in an envelope marked "WHC"-the Office can provide an envelope). Donations may also be mailed to the Meetinghouse.
