UniFIED Efforts, Inc. Student Named Commissioner for the Day
by Debbie Ramsey, UniFIED Efforts Executive Director and Member of Stony Run
On April 21, 2026, UniFIED Efforts, Inc., New Career Program recognized its participant, Treasure Mack (11-year-old and attendee of BCPS), as its 2026 Baltimore Police Department Commissioner for the Day.
The program is designed to help Baltimore resident students gain a better, more positive understanding of how "their" Police Department works to improve their lives, create new career opportunities, foster more relatable interactions, and give the Police Department a positive interaction with its youth.
UniFIED Efforts, Inc., is a nonprofit operating in West Baltimore's Penn-North Community for eleven consecutive years, at no cost to parents and primary care providers. In 2015, Stony Run Friends Meeting passed this Minute of Support:
Baltimore Monthly Meeting of Friends, Stony Run recognizes the "leading" of Debbie Ramsey, a member of Stony Run Meeting, to provide programs for youth violence prevention, year-round academic support, and enrichment activities, in West Baltimore's Penn-North neighborhood, and in so doing endorses the work of Unified Efforts, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizationÂ
