All are Welcome to Join Stony Run's Carol Sing Tradition!
Every December, for more than the last 50, Stony Run Friends Meeting has celebrated the holidays by hosting our cherished community Carol Sings. This beloved tradition gathers voices and hearts of all ages, faiths, and talents to share in fellowship and the warmth of holiday cheer.
This year, we welcome Sandy Robson (professionally known as Letitia VanSant) as our song leader. Sandy attended Stony Run during her high school years and has served on the staff of BYM Camps at Opequon and Teen Adventure. She is one half of the harmony laden duo, Golden Aster, and a Music Together educator in the Baltimore area.
The Carol Sings are traditionally held on the first three Sunday evenings of December. To make the gatherings more accessible for families with younger children, our first sing on Sunday, December 7, 2025, will take place earlier, starting at 5:00 PM. Of course, all ages are welcome on any date.
The remaining two sings will be held at their traditional time of 7:00 PM. Please note that the first and third Carol Sings will be followed by a reception.
With love and gratitude, we also take a moment to honor the lives of Laura Kinsey, who previously led our songs, and Bob Breyer, who stewarded this wonderful tradition for many years.
We look forward to seeing you there!
