Nominating Committee: Committee of the Month (June)

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee seeks participants for the Meeting’s 16 standing committees and two Boards for other Quaker institutions. Through committees, members and attenders can "be the Meeting" by living out calls to stewardship of meeting finances and property; promoting religious education, worship, and spiritual growth; and serving the larger community.

Special abilities needed right now include:

  • cooking for a crowd
  • supporting Young Friends 0-18
  • managing human resources or providing supervision
  • reading & managing budgets or spreadsheets
  • communicating in a Friendly manner in difficult situations

If you're reading to join in the mission of Stony Run and actively support our Meeting socially and spiritually, talk to a Nominating Committee member: we will help you find a place that's right for you!

Members of the Nominating Committee: Melanie Haynes, Kitty Bryant, Suzanne O'Hatnick, Becky Copeland, Rob Ketron.

If you'd like to serve on the Nominating Committee, contact Moderator Gene Baron.
