Minute for Supreme Court Ethics Reform

As members of the Religious Society of Friends holding integrity and truth as core values, we believe that the corruption exposed by the media and the lack of an enforceable code of ethics for the Supreme Court are eroding the court’s legitimacy. Therefore, we urge Congress to swiftly pass robust ethics reform legislation, including an enforceable Code of Conduct for Supreme Court justices, which follows a similar approach required of all other federal court justices.
