May Day Strong
Stony Run Friends Meeting's Peace & Justice Committee hosted our May Day Strong event on May 1st in front of the Meetinghouse along North Charles Street. More than 30 people attend. In addition to Friends, four people from the Interfaith Coalition for Black Lives and a neighbor of one Friend joined us. Friends received many positive responses (honking, waving and smiling) from people driving by and enjoyed our fellowship together.
Coming together to stand for justice and democracy for everyone strengthened our resolve to be involved in further actions.
