During all of January, the Library Committee will display books about civil rights and equal justice. “Carry On: Reflections for a New Generation” by John Lewis was written with you in mind. It is filled with the wisdom that comes from his years of experience as an activist for equal justice for Black and Brown people. He shares his knowledge and advice on many topics like: Good Trouble, Activism, Justice, Humility, Hope, Spirituality, and more. Easy to read, comforting, informational, and helpful in times of despair, in this book, John Lewis gives us the wisdom of a true American hero.
