As a Quaker Community, we organize ourselves for nurture and service through Standing Committees as well as other occasional groups. All of our Committees hope to welcome new members beginning June 1, and many are open to receive new members now.
Committees are opportunities to build relationships with others in the Meeting, explore Quaker values, contribute to the Meeting and reach toward a more peaceful world. Whether you are new to the Meeting or a long-standing Member, there is a place on a committee for you!
Committees open to all in the Stony Run Quaker community and which are currently seeking participants include:
- Peace & Justice
- Property
- Burial Grounds
- Hospitality
- Religious Education
- Library
Committees seeking recorded Members of the Meeting (or other Friends Meetings) include:
- Community, Care, and Clearness
- Committee on Support and Supervision
- Trustees
- Ministry & Counsel
- Ushers
