Adrian Bishop moved to Baltimore from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands to serve as Meeting Coordinator for Baltimore Monthly Meeting of Friends, Stony Run (Quakers). Since then, he has embraced the city’s spirit of care and dedicated himself to strengthening community resources.

At GEDCO, Adrian has been a committed leader since 2011, serving on the Real Estate Development Committee and helping launch the Property Management Committee, where he personally inspected every unit. His focus has been on affordable housing, supporting CARES, and exploring opportunities for home ownership. He also serves as President of the Board at

Unified Efforts in Penn North, which provides out-of-school programming for children and is building a permanent program facility. Adrian’s dedication, resilience, and vision for Baltimore embody the true meaning of the Spirit Award.

GEDCO will honor Adrian during its Thanksgiving Tribute on November 19 from 6:00 - 9:30 PM. Our community has stepped forward to help sponsor the event and purchase a table so that we can be there to show our support of Adrian and GEDCO.
