BYM Summer Camp 2025 Registration is Open!
Summer camp is a unique opportunity for youth to learn, grow, and live in community. Quaker camps provide all of these chances and more, and the camps of Baltimore Yearly Meeting work intentionally to build vibrant, diverse, and youth-centered communities where everyone can find their light, and shine their light.
BYM Camps is a family of four summer camp programs spread along the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and Maryland. Operated and stewarded by the Baltimore Yearly Meeting Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), these four programs are unique and distinctive but tied

together by a belief in the importance and value of every person. From hiking to canoeing to rock climbing, from organic farming to creative arts, from group games to group work, BYM Quaker campers develop the kind of self-knowledge and self-esteem that leads to personal, emotional, and spiritual growth. BYM’s four camps provide a meaningful and unforgettable summer experience, but more than that they produce in campers a lifetime of lessons, confidence, and connection.

If your youth (age 9 through grade 12) is a part of our community and interested in taking part in one of the BYM camps this summer, but you think that the cost is beyond you, Stony Run is able to help. Once you have filled out the camp application (due by May 1!), you will hear from BYM about the level of financial support you need to give. If you still think you will need assistance to get your child to camp, we can help with some scholarship funds. Just fill out our Camp Scholarship Request form for each child attending camp, and we will do our best to help you get your child there!
