Broadmead Acquires Sparks, MD Properties, Announces First Off-Site Campus Expansion
Stony Run Friends founded Broadmead in 1979 as a Life Plan Community, operating under a Quaker-guided corporation. Located in Cockeysville, Maryland, Broadmead was founded as an extension of Stony Run Friends' aim to serve and nurture older people. The history of Broadmead is rooted in Stony Run's legacy of community involvement and care, a continuation of the Meeting's decades-long history of outreach and service in Baltimore and beyond.
